Charlie's Angles

Charlie's Angles is back, and as lovingly cornball as the original series. Complete with hair-flipping, high kicks, phoney smiles, aand enough bouncing female flesh to set the women's movement back to before the days of political correctness, this is one of those movies where you just have to remember it's entertainment, put your mind on hold, and relax to enjoy.

Though it lacked the expected cameo's of original-series stars, it still had the original voice of Charlie (and quite possibly the original speaker-phone it came through), and the same feel of the series, though with some modern Matrix-style slow-mo special effects in the fight scenes (a bit unnessecary, but it makes for a little something different). No big mind-bender plots or macheavelian developments, it's pure light fluff and rather enjoyable light fluff.

Though the first bit seems nearly a parody of the original, it soon shapes up to a good ride typical of the series. Angles fly and so does this movie; great matinee fare.
