Monsters Inc.

Okay, let's go straight past the fact that the trailer for Star Wars Episode Two and an amusing little pre-feature shows before things start and get straight to the film. You want good 3-D animation, a fun plot, voices that sem custom fit to the characters they portray, and an old commercial jingle reference? You wnt a unique plot concept that both young AND old kids will like? Well then, try out Monsters Inc..

An exploration as to what ies on the OTHER side of those closet doors kids are always seeing monsters come out of and what it is they do there. Children's screams, it seems, are a power source, but one rapidly dwindling in a world where kids are growing upo more worldly-wise. So what's a monster to do? Well, sit back and enjoy this film, would be my suggestion, as it's a real fun one. Pixar's imaginative animation has cast out a winner, when a young child gets loose in a world of monsters whetre kids are considered fatalally toxic.

John Goodman's voice matches the huge size of his character, as do each of the other voices seem equally well cast too. Humor? See if you can spot the part where they use some of the lyrics to the old Armour Hotdog commercials. Or maybe the chase-of-many-doors (for any old Bugs Bunny fans). This one's definitely a winner.

No complaints, just take it as it is. A fun little comedy for the monsters in all of us.
