Babylon 5- The Last Episode

Five years of drama, war (with both Shadows and Networks), loss, and joy finally come down to one last hour. All the battles have been fought, all the wars won; now all that remains is to turn out the lights (literally). There are no great battles in this last episode, no conflicts, only the final wrap up.

All the good-byes are said, the final destinies of all the major characters given. The series ends with the final fate of Sheridan, as he takes the final ride off into the sunset in one of the most classic ways to end both a hero and a great book.

All the loose-ends are tied up, in an episode that left me with both a fulfilled feeling and a longing as I say good-bye to a dear friend. The characters each rode off into their own legend as this series itself now rides off into legend as perhaps one of the best television series ever made.

Yes, I liked this episode, an hour that will only have meaning for those that have followed this series through all the ups and downs of it's characters, the war, the drama. I will indeed miss it, but I leave with the same satisfied feeling I have after having turned the last page of a good book.

As I have now turned the last page of Babylon 5.
