Shadow Of The Vampire

Take the classic Nosferateu of the silent era and add in the idea that it's star was a real vampire and you've got a dark little art-flick, with William Dafoe as the vampire and John Malchovich as the director that's probably more ghoulish in his tunnel-vision goals then the vampire is at his blood sucking.

Entertaining enough, with some choise elements of dark hummor, though I personally would have played up the comedy part a lot more. The film seems to center more on the director's fanatical devotion to his film then the fact of the vampire being around, and that slant makes this more art-film then dark-humor film.

Good enough for quick entertainment, though as I said it could still use a bit more of the dark-humor vampire aspect.
