Aeon Flux

Based on the MTV animated series (which I'd ever only seen the first episode of at a SF Con, so no comparisons will be drawn), the title character is a young lady of remakable skills in a high-tech society of the future in which Man is all but extinct and forced to living in the one last city left on earth. A society with a few problems beneath the surface and so rebels like Aeon Flux are there trying to take it down. The rest is slick imaginative futuristic fun.

Good effects, style, and technological elements. The plot is also good, enough of a mystery to keep people interested in what's going on, and really nothing to fault. The particularily science-minded though may find a couple of small faults with certain theoretical scientific aspects of the big reveal at the end, but that would just be me and about three others so no biggy there. I enjoyed it enough that I would have liked it to be a bit longer.

Slick sweet fun, this one's definitely worth the matinee'.
