Before they started talking about this film I'd never heard of Ant Man, then as it began to approach I figured it for Marvel's version of The Atom. I wasn't expecting much going in, but then I got an AMC gift card and thought what the hey.

When I finally saw it, though, I found it to be a lot more than I expected. Exciting, humorous, and thoroughly enjoyable, plus we have Michael Douglas as the retired foprmer Ant Man looking to pass the torch. Throw in TWO end credit scenes that you MUST see if you're following the marvel plot arc, and this is a surprisingly good movie.
