Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever

A cheap little action flick with several predictable moments and lots of things that go boom. More interesting are the characters, including Lucy Lui's enigmatic Sever and Banderas' troubled Ecks and who are really the bad and good guys and the ensuing motives.

Of course the main part of this movie is martial arts, combat, and shooting, fighting, spy stuff, betrayal, and that whole lot. Standard matinee stuff and passable enough for matinee prices. Nothing mind-bending or spectacular but good enough for 90 minutes of an otherwise bland afternoon.

Admittedly between the music, body count, title, and basic plot it looks like it was written by the Marketing Department, but I've seen much worse. See it for the people in it.
