Yes, it's another "special child with special powers to be the key in the battle between Good and Evil" movie. There's getting to be enough of them to form their own genre. Well, that aside, this movie really isn't all that bad.

The plot's pretty simple; Bad Guys want the kid and a desperate adoptive mother wants to protect her. The kid begins to display some super-natural powers but nothing earth-shattering; no bolts of power or people flying back through the air, just a few spinning plates and a deadline by which the Bad Guys have to sway the kid over by or kill her.

A medal to the girl that plays the kid, Cody, for the most adorable smile. Beyond that though, this film is pretty average B-movie Satan-is-after-you fare; kind of a reverse Omen. I enjoyed it, but it's still nothing remarkable. Keep an eye on that kid in the future though.
