Corpse Bride

Another Tim Burton stop-motion flick, this time about a nervous young groom who accidentally marries the wrong girl... one who happens to be long dead. Thence we have a dead bride trying to bring her living husband down into the underworld while the living one frets about the groom while another visitor maneuvers himself into her life. The rest is some harmless undead fun.

Visuals are great, good characterizations, music, fair if predictable plot, and generally an all around fun movie. The one complaint would be the length; it's only 1 hour and 16 minutes long (that's counting end credits). Far too short a movie, especially at current theater prices, I would have loved to see an extra half hour. So, while I do recommend this film, being as how it's so bloody short, some of you may want to wait for the DVD (that's like, what, 6 weeks after a given theater premiere?).
