With a title like Cowboys & Aliens, you know this flick has got to be a whole lot of fun. And it is. Harrison Ford is in perfect curmudgeon form, and Daniel Craig plays an amnesiac with an alien weapon gizmo strapped around one wrist. then enter the aliens and the fun begins.

This is a serious adventure that, despite the premise, manages not to go cornball or pure comedic. The aliens are great, the plot does the job, and the interaction between, and development of, the characters works wonderfully. And this movie is a lot of fun. Great matinee' material.
