Edge Of Tomorrow

Ground Hog Day with aliens and a title that sounds like that of an afternoon soap opera, this is actually one of those very rare things in Hollywood where you get action AND an intriguing little plot. Through a battlefield accident, our hero gets to relive the same day over and over again until it gets things right. which is good considering this day could very well be the last day that Humanity as a whole has. Toss in Emily Blunt who used to have this same ability and now must play mentor, and you have an interesting story, deadly-fast aliens, and a great Summer popcorn flick. Are there problems? Nothing of note that I noticed, which is rare in a film involving time travel. Just a great little flick.
