Horror with tongue firmly in cheek is bout the closest way to term this film. Not scary-horror, but pulling enough of the old recognizable horror punches to be good for a several laughs. Not a comedy, really, but just a load of good fun.

Big spiders en masse, out to lunch on townsfolk in the expected dusty little town, complete with the expected clip of an old classic horror pic on someone's television in the background. The kid no one believes 9and they even say so in the film, the beauty fresh out of the shower slated as next victim, the most annoying person in town being responsible for it all, the only phpone line out of town being down, it has it all. All he old cliches but the differnce is they seem aware. that they are cliches. Just enough to be fun.

If the title doesn't tell you that these people just want everyon to enjoy themselves then forget it, you're a hopeless anti-comic. For the rest of us, this is a good mid-summer grin.
