The ex-girlfriend of Dare Devil is back in this movie that takes place a few years after her death and following disappearance in the Dare Devil movie. Recovered, ressurrected, and taken into the fold of a secret society of mystical do-gooders, she has emerged a few years later with the ability to slide a little bit through time, enhancing her already formidable martial arts prowess. Living the life of an assassin, she takes up a contract that will quickly change her life./P>

Not all that bad. Good action, some passable bad-guys (if a bit under-used), an actual plot (more or less), and maybe one or two surprises. I've no idea how it compares to the original comic but as a movie in itself it's pretty good. No mention of how she died, but if you saw the Dare Devil movie then you know. After that, it's all Elektra, re-invented after her death and now teetering on the brink between Good and Evil. Gennifer Gardner seems a good type-cast for these assassin-spy rolls, her focused determination a good look for the character..

A very good matinee' flick I think you'll enjoy.
