At first glance from the early trailers I thought this would be a rather silly story about a snowman, but then I read that it was based on The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson and thought I'd give it a try. It actully came out pretty good. Never mind the pretty basic plot, and that if you took out the musical numbers the whole thing would be about 20-30 minutes long, I found myself realy liking this movie. Two sister princesses, the elder one of which has a power with frosting things over, a power that is getting increasingly out of control. And therein lies the story. What happens when she finally looses control? What happens when an entire kingdom is completely frozen in? See it and find out. You and the kids will enjoy it.
