Ghost Rider

The movie based on the comic based on the old song, a man sells his soul to the Devil and becomes a flaming skull of a man to serve him thereafter. I can't compare it to a comic I've not read but only heard of, but my impression is it looks good. It takes a whole 40 minutes for the backstory to get told but after that it picks up and we have the likes of Sam Eliot and Peter Fonda to help Nick Cage along not to mention that great visual of a flaming guy on a burning motorcycle.

I like the legend, I like the song, I like the main story, though the front backstory could have gone along a bit faster. The Ghost Rider is a fearsome apparition which comes across pretty strong on screen, and Nicolas Cage does pretty good in his roll. A pretty good matine' flick, well earning a Cheesey Scale rating of Limburger.
