Twenty years after Goosebumps made it big, we finally have a movie, but this is not just a film about one of the GOosebumps books, but rather about the author himself, and what happens when the monsters he's created escape into the real world. No big surprises here, and no plot twists you don't see coming, but it is a rather fun and enjoyable movie, complete with a very brief cameo by R.L. Stein himself (in a rather amusing little way, but it's all of 3 secondas long). The kids will love it, you 30 year olds that grew up on this stuff will love it, heck I think anyone would. You got Jack Black hamming it up in a plot that pokes as much fun at Mr. Stein's creations as it does revel in them.
