Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets

Harry Potter's back with the second installment of the series, and this time it's more touble, more magic, and more mysteries. A new danger is brewing at Hogwarts and unknown things after harry and his friends. A hidden place called the Chamber of Secrets- one of those places that should never be opened- is opene and a dangerous creature within released. But the problem remains to find the chamber and he who set it open.

More magical gimicks, some new teachers, more dangers, and even some more plot. The magical world expands but this time the concentration is more on certain background mysteries, getting well into the apparent bigger of the series now that the world was set up in the first film. Some say it's better than the first, I say they're both pretty good. From a house elf to a pompous new instructor, from a howler letter to a phoenix bird, there's plenty here to enjoy. One of the few movie franchizes where three hours is almost too short a time. All in all, quite good.

A last note. Stay through the credits because there's a last scene after all the names have finished scrolling. So if you want to see who ends up in a straight jacket, then stay seated to the very end.
