The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

Well, here we are at part two, and first off, YES we do get to see the dragon in all his glory, not to mention a Dwarf's idea of building on a grand scale when we finally get to see under the mountain. The movie is over two and a half hours long but it was pretty wel paced. It didn't drag but kept up the pace pretty well. everything from the book was there as well as what was only hinted at. For instance, in the book Gandalf mentioned going off to see a section with a necromancer of some sort, but we never saw that because the book is all from the Hobbit's point of view. Well, here we see that and how it connects up with The Lord Of The Rings. not once did I feel like I was seeing fluff just to pad it out to three films. It was all done good.

This movie is a must for the big screen.
