This is the story of a high-schooler with the abs- and body, build, face- of a 24 year old bodybuilder. That beng normal for teen-angst SF/Fantasy, let's move on. This movie has goten a lot of flack but it's not all that bad. The first half drags a bit as it sets up, establshes, and finds the love interest, but eventually we get to see the payoff. Aliens hunting aliens on old planet Earth, sorta like Roswell or The Powers Of Mathew Star. The good aliens are the only 9 left of their home world, and they must be killed in order for reasons not defined in the movie. It's a race to see if their special powers develop before the bad aliens find them and kill them one by one. Add in the added problem of the good aliens not knowing one another's location.

Like I said, not bad but not great, and it's set up for a couple of sequels. I imagine we'll see if they make it to the screen or not. In the meantime, either see t matinee' or wait to rent it.
