A computer-animated kid-flick that for once leaves out the cute and cavity-forming plots. That's not to say it doesn't have it's sweet moments but it also sports some mild child-trauma scenes. Call it a notch or two below Bambi in that regard.

The animation is not up to other 3D or computer animation attempts, but then again this isn't Pixar (as demonstrated by the attempts at human flesh tones that land somplace between claymation and Hanna-Barbera). As far as the story, it's simple with a very predictable ending that even the kids will see coming. Still, it's an amusing deversion if you're looking for a family pic, and in my case did serve another function...

I got to see the Star Wars Episode II trailer again.
