Brave knights, evil counts, a king to marry off his princess daughter, wizards, and... cell phones? That's what you'll find in this story of a time traveling knight and his peasant side-kick when a plot by a hateful lord goes awry and the victimized knight finds himself a millenium out of date, with Christina Applegate as the lucky one that gets to escort him around modern day Chicago.

This actually is a pretty funny movie, with a plot that hasn't been obver-worked or over-used. It starts off with an amusing little narration by David Hyde Pierce to set the tone and winds up with the expected temporal cultural clash, though it becomes Applegate's character who has to do the most adapting.

Funny, light-hearted, and a bit uplifting, it'll definitely put you into a better mood. See it before the comming blockbusters bury it.
