Kill Bill- Volume 1

Blood, body parts, anime-style fight scenes, and a lot more blood. apparently Quentin Tarrantino is an old-fashioned fan-boy who happens to be a director, because it shows; the opening has the original Shaw-brothers movie intro, followed by a quote credited as "Old Klingon Proverb". That about sets the tone for a lot of bloody fun.

Too many good stars to name, an anime-sequence for one character's back-story, a massive fight scene that reads like an anime scene brought to flesh, enough loose body parts to stitch together a whole new crowd of people, and a plot of revenge told in a typical Tarrantino Pulp Fiction style of out-of-temporal sequence chapters. and all that's just for starters. A warning for any kiddies, this film's blood-letting makes Sam Pekinpaw look like a neat-freak.

This movie has style. action, plot, some humor, and an overallscense of fun. a film made by onefilm-fan for other genre fans to enjoy. Even the fact of this being a part one shows some class; rather then chop of his film to fit into a time slot, Tarrantino broke it up into two films to preserve it's story-telling integrity. if you don't mind a lot of blood then see this film.
