Kill Bill- Volume 2

The second part of the Kill Bill story, now how can I say this. Oh yeah... You must see this film! If you missed the first part then rent the DVD and SEE THIS FILM!!! Vendettas resolved, flash backs done up in the classic 70s and 80s Kung Fu films (including the same guy from them that always played the Master), sword fights, some humor, and a whole oot more all done up in the same back and forth temporal narrative that was the signature of the first half.

Quentin Tarrantino is a genre fan geek with a camera, and his love of such genres as Kung Fu, anime, and others shows quite clearly in the way the film plays, the strategic use of different film types for select scenes, the talent he got involved, even going to China just to use a temple there instead of trying to build one of his own. This film is a love-letter to all the best movie-making has to offer to fans of the genres involved, both tribute and culmination of what has come before. In one part where the flashback is to a Kung Fu training session with a master, not only did they have theoriginal Gordon Liu playing he Master, but the film was altered to look like it was actual 70s film stock, as if this could actually be one of those old classic films. That level of attention to detail only comes fromone who truly loves what he does.

See this film, stay through the credits, and even see the quick outake at the end. Taken as a whole, the story of Kill Bill is an epic pleasure.
