About the only thing I spotted wrong with this one was a continuity error regarding which way Gandalf was holding his staff on entering in to meet Theoden from one moment to the next but that's it. Gollum looks like he was modeled after Peter Lorre (bad spelling aside, remember him?), those worgs are BIG and nasty, the Ents are great, the battles- oh, the battles... Well, you get the idea. Even if you've never read the books, or read them and don't like them, you'll still love this film. Just three hours of blissful, fantasy-geek glory...
