Say what you will, I saw this one just to have fun and because I was one of those kids that watched the original series like clockwork. There's no plot here that will surprise anyone, nothing that will win awards, and only basic if rather amusing special effects.

Nevertheless, aside from the nostalga value, which is good in and of itself, it has enough amusing segments to warrant it's presence as an afternoon matiney flick. It has a nice little twist at the end, though it's one that any good Martian fan will see coming within the first 10 minutes of the film, but still a twist that I would have been disappointed had it not been included.

All in all, nostalga types will like it better than others, but it's still good enough to have a little fun with. It's also one of those that I'll give a rating on my Cheesey scale for, in this case a Provalone.
