National Treasure

The legendary two-thousand year old treasure of the Templars has been the object of endless hunts by Nick Cage's family until the day comes when his character finds a key clue that starts off a race to the clues before his former backer gets to it first. Clues, chase, break-ins, some brain-work, and tense moments then fill the rest of this film.

I've never really felt one way or another about Nick Cage but he does seem to do good in the role of a determined researcher that uses his brains before brawn. The story also seems to work, not overloaded with pointless explosions and gun battles but instead harking back to the old standbys of treasure hunts: brains.

A good movie, great excapism, go see it.
