A stoner alien on the run bumps into a couple of Englishmen fresh from Comicon. With a set-up like that you know this has to be a comedy. And indeed it is, though perhaps as laid back as the alien in question. While some of the high points of the comedy are in the trailers, fortunately there was a bit more content.

This movie will seem funnier for geeks, as there is a plethora of SF movie references, both obvious and in the background (it took me a cople seconds to realize that the tune being played inside a bar was the Star Wars cantina tune). But then again, who else but geek-kind will be seeing a movie about aliens on a road trip with a couple of SF geeks? Worth a matinee' laugh, good ending, and not all that bad. A good movie to hold us over until the big stuff comes round.
