Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

It's finally out- the movie that people have been waiting a generation for! Was it worth the wait? I'd have to say yes.

Enter a galaxy, a long time ago and far far away, to see the old Republic at it's best. From the little planet of Naboo, to the capitol world of Coruscant (shades of Trantor), this is the start of what went wrong with the Force. A planet in trouble, the Senate in chaod, and yet behind it all what is really going on? Perhaps not what the Council of Jedi thinks.

Yes this movie leaves several open questions, but it's supposed to. It is the first chapter after all. Much groundwork is laid, from the creation of C3PO to the finding of young Anakin Skywalker. I won't mention any details here because there's already too many spoilers out there. All I can say is to not look at the movie sound track or read any other reviews until after you've sen the movie.

A note for those that insist on walking out the instant the credits start rolling by, aside from missing out on that great music, you'll also miss the last little touch to the film. As the last note starts to fade, the curtains to close, you'll hear one last little surprise; a final touch to this film.

See this movie!
