A perfect Summer popcorn flick based on the legendary game that current gaming society has all but fogotten. It has a good style, a great cast, good background and atmosphere, and a whole lot of roof-hopping adventure. Yes, the ending you can see coming from the first mention of the phrase "sands of time", but it's still a great load of Summer fun. Good acting, actors who are cast because their looks actually fit their roles and not just because they look good (though, of course, a couple do), and bext of all the gizmo in question does not get overused. yes, there is a dagger that can turn back time, but there are limits, and it's these limits that drive the plot.

This movie is someplace between a good Summer block buster and a top rating on my Cheesey Scale (in which case it earns a Limburger). Go see it.
