Push

This movie looked really neat from the promos and guess what... it actually is. Government experiments since the Nazis have resulted in the occasional person with psychic powers, each such person with their own specific ability. Watchers are precogs, Sniffers can object-read, a Shadow is one who hide you from Sniffers and Watchers, and the ability to Push is basically a telepath who can push his own thoughts into your mind (the same name, as I recall, that the father of the Firestarter called his ability at doing the same thing, so I guess props must be given Steven King). Experiments have been concentrating on a formula to increase a psi'd powers; unfortunately they keep dyidng as a result... all except for one and therein begins the story- and the chase.

A bit of mystery, intrigue, and an answer to the question "How do you outplay another Watcher (or army thereof) who can see what you're going to do in the future before you do it?" The solution to that is rather intriguing to watch unfold.

I liked this film and really hope it's a success- enough so that they make the sequel because when you see the ending you'll know that there is definitely room for a part 2. So go see it so we can encourage the studio to finish up at least one minor franchise (unlike a recent plethora of abandoned fantasy ones of late).
