The Sixth Day

It's another Arnold "Who am I now?" flick, this time with revolving clones instead of a Total Recall mind twist. Arnold is leading a normal enough near-future life when clones and the question of who's who comes in to muck things up. Lot's of action, a not so twisted plot twist, and a few basic moral issues make for a rather good film.

In a clone version of "is it live or is it Memorex", the film brings up some moral issues regarding the possibility of cloning Human; if the clone still has a soul, is he even a person, that sort of thing. It adds a bit of thought-provoking bite, though not so much to elevate this above the level of standard action flick. A good enough film for matinee' fare, if a bit standard compared to some of Arnold's past outings.

By the way, the title is a biblical reference; "...and on the sixth day God created Man."
