Sleepy Hollow

Combine the legend of Sleepy Hollow with a good old fashioned who-done-it, and you've got a film with no faults. With just a few key changes to Washington Irving's original tale, we have a plot that can last out the full two hours, with enough mysteries and twists to keep you guessing until the last 10 minutes of the film.

Is the horseman real, or just a guy in a costume? and if he is real then what does he want. Once the fact of the supernatural is accepted the movie goes beyond that and continues on with the solving of a mystery, the existence of a killer ghost now being but another piece to a puzzle. Tis film shies away from nothing, not even the full-on view of a hesad being lost.

A small misnomer though. The year is 1799, and they talk of the coming new millenium. Obvious correction: 1800 would be the new century not the new millenium.

See this film, then get the sound track. You'd have to loose your head not to.
