Song Of The South

I just got hold of the single most hard to get video here in the USA and that's a swet film that's been morally banned by the morally bankrupt. A film I wanted to see as a kid and missed and now I'm finally watching it as I type this.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this film at ALL. People don't want it to be seen because of reasons for political correctness which are really more like resons for power control. Near as I can figure the critisism comes from people thinking that Uncle Remus makes for a bad role model for black people. Well let's see; Uncle Remus has an accent common to the South of the time, he's a kind wise person that uses stories and an easy-going amiable attitude to teach lessons to the plantation owner's gandson, and he's got a good singing voice. Wise friendly, and with a complete lack of hate. The sort of person anyone would want their uncle to be...

Someone tell me what's wrong with this?

So the peoeple talk funny, it's a period piece so get over it. Would you expect a piece set in Victoria England to have people with sneakers or something in old China to have people with Hungarian accents? This movie is so lacking in hate and filled with happiness it could inspire caivites. It's a classic and the only reason why anyone would want it banned is if they want to promote hatred amongst the races.

As a film, it has one of the most well known songs of all time, the classic tales of Brair Rabbit, and tales of morality that no one can find fault with. I like it and others should try actually watching it before critizing it.
