Another film loosely based on an old Disney concept, in this case the Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence in Fantasia. And actually, it's not all that bad. In fact, it's pretty good. Fun, magical, and entertaining.

Nic Cage is a sorcerer on a quest to find Merlin's successor in modern day Manhattan, and train him before an evil wizard can free Morgan LeFey to complete her nefarious scheme to rule the world (isn't that always the case?). The rest is some modern day magical fun of plasma blasts, morphing cars, magic duels, and telsa coils. If you're looking for some uplifting fun then this is the right movie to see. Predictable plot elements, but no complaints. I loved this film.
