Typical love story; spy meets spy, spy falls in love with spy, spies get married and have kids without telling them about the family business. Spy kids is an amusing little flick wherein two kids discover their parents' secret and are forced into an almost cartoonish-world of spy gadgets and espionage plots. They need to track down their parents before the adults get turned into mutants and the obligatory mad-man takes over the world.

Just enough cornball to make this film fun, not enough to have the adults wincing, and even funny and pretty enjoyable. No, they didn't go with the super-kids syndrome (which was a relief), in fact the younger kid is quite a clutz. I found it to be fun and light hearted.

Kids will love it, as will the kid inside you. I know it appealed to the kid inside my own self (Stop squirming in there; you'll digest faster that way).
