Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Well, here it is, the first installment of Star Wars The Next Generation. It had its highs and lows but overall was quite good. Fantastic? Well, not quite; for thork more on his dramatic timing with both the camera and music. Overall, though, a good first attempt. Better than Phantom Menace (though PM had more elements of that dramtic timing I weas talking about), but not as good as the original trilogy. There's sopme more things I could say but that would involve spoilers, so just say that I liked it, I expect a LOT more in the next film, and why can't Spielberg direct one of these things.

This is also my last regular review (though I mnight do one on occasion, if it strikes my fancy). No one reads them anyway, my heart hasn't really been in writing them for a while (you can probably tell that), and I've got to devote more time to getting my own books off the ground. Time to stopm being just the fan and start being the master.

May the Force be with you... always.
