One ring to rule them all, one ring to- Oops, wrong ring movie.

A thriller-ghoststory mystery involving a video tape of disturbing images that when viewed seven days later the viewer dies. Thus begins a race against time for one viewer as she tries to solve the mystery behind the tape before her time is up.

I guess if an art-film wanted to try for a horror flick then this movie might be the result. Non-stop spooks, mystery, chills, and plot twists, The Ring will disturb you, entrance you, and keep your eyes glued to that screen. A chain letter for the video age (that'll make sense once you see it), it's one worth viewing and passing on. Don't think you'll know when it's over with, because that's when there's another revelation or two.

And just what is the Ring? For that answer, you'll have to see the movie... but then you too may have only seven days.
