The comic this is based on is apparently well known in Canada and Europe, though I remember seeing the comics and an episode or two of the cartoon on Saturday morning TV once- way back when- and I seem to remember in that one Tin Tin being closer to his teens than adulthood, though I do clearly remember the dog Snowy. Anyway, taking palce in the same time period as the first Indiana Jones movie, it has pretty much the same temperament and sense of adventure. Tin Tin is a reporter always on the lookout for a good story when one bumps right into him. I won't spoil the details but this is a pretty good animated adventurous romp that I can really recommend. And a note: the drawing the artist at the beginning makes of Tin Tin is the exact way the original comic had him drawn as.
