The remake of the original Recall, one that, while sorta okay, is a medocre and unnecessary remake. Yes, the three-breasted lady is there, in full frontal view, but aside from being an aside to the original, it serves no purpsoe here. In the original, the reason for the 3 breasts was the presence of mutants, but in this new version there are no mutantrs at all and so this one-off gimic serves no purpose. As well, is a brief reference to the Mars aspect from the original in the form of a "I've always wanted to go to Mars" line that falls completely flat. The humor is also gone, and while the visuals of this future world are great, the whole things comes off overly gritty and somewhat bland.

No Mars aspect this time, but a world near death with the Haves versus the Have-nots. But other than the details, the basics of the plot read exactlky like the oringal with nothing really new, and enough similarities to take the punch out of what is new. It's okay as a matinee' feature but I have no doubt that inside of a week I will have all but forgotten about it.

If you want a memorable movie then go rewatch the original.
