Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

Third in the series, this one a few years after the last when the Autobots have been helping Earth out with its internal problems, and our favorite Human kid is out of college and job hunting, as well as with a new girlfriend. I still like the other girlfriend character, just because of continuity and how the two fit, but I'm guessing the cast change has more to do with personal issues than not. Megatron is back, thugh a bit worse for the wear, and the plot revolves around a secret that dates back to the Apollo program.

The action is there, though finally a bit les confusing and able to be followed, and enough of a plot to stitch everything together, including one minor twist. It's a long one, and about 2 and a half hours, so they're taking their time on plot development. Also a coupel of geek things. Bumble bee's broadcast search for words turns up "I have been and always will be your friend", as said by Spock in Wrath of Kahn, but also the bot character Sentinel says "the needs of the many utway the needs of the few", also as said by Spock in that same movie. Thing is, the voice of Sentinel is Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy, thugh judging from the way that no one else but me was laughing, I'm guessing no one else got it.

Anyway, great matinee' flick, and a solid Limburger.
