What happens when the Borg mates with Alien on board of Deep Star 6? Well, while the result doesn't exactly gobble, it definitely smells faintly of poultry.

The plot was predictable (ever find yourself reciting elements of the plot BEFORE you see it happen on screen), and while the cast was studded with a large number of big-name stars, the film seemed based around the old belief that if you put enough blood and greasy machine parts into a film then that makes it a Horror pic (Event Horizon pretty much defines this sub-genre, though this film isn't near that bad).

The film wasn't completely bad, though in fact, it definitely qualifies for my Cheesey Scale, rating a solid "Brie". Predictable, flat, and acting that could have been much better given the supposed quality of the cast, it's still a good way to waste an afternoon, provided you only pay Matinee' prices.
