X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Well, looks like they finally got it right. Taking place after both the last X-Men movie and the last Wolverine flick, though not explaining how Professor X came back from the dead, we finally have the furure where the Sentinels kill everybody, necessitating the need for projecting someone's consciousness back into the past to stop the Sentinel program from getting started. This someone is wolverine, since he's the only one that can survive the trip. All he needs to do is get the past versions of Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique to all get on the same page and believe Wolverine when he tells them that he's from the future. Simple, right?

This is an intelligent action-packed story with a comes-down-to-the-wire ending. Will they stop the Sentinels in time? For the most part the plot is well thought out with one nit-picking little details (and only becuse i'm a Physics geek): the lady that can send people's minds back into the past says that once a change to history has been made only the traveler will remember the other time-line. Even the one sending him back won't remember, which begs the question, that if she cannot remember ever sendiung him back in time then how does she know that she posesses this power in the first place. It would stand to reason that she would have to remember as well for proper cause and effect to remain in place (and don't give me that "it's time travel, who can understand that?" thing). But like I said, it's nit-picking. Over all this is a very good movie.

And don't forget to stay all the way through the end credits if you want a sneak peak at what is obviously Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen.
